Blue Jasmine

Nothing makes a Sunday afternoon more delightful than watching a good entertaining movie with a sweet friend.

Woody Allen always makes the most entertaining movies of all the time. Movies that are simple and you don't need to think so much about them, yet you don't feel there is nothing to it and you are bored. He focuses on a  simple life event and makes it so interesting that attracts all the attention from the audience and then suddenly lets it go and makes us think that totally can happen in our lives.

This movie was also the same. It is about a woman who used to be married to a crooked financier and now after the divorce and suicide of the husband she moves from NY to San Fransisco to make a new life. Meanwhile she stays with her "loser" sister. The woman " Jasmine" is going through a life crisis, she gets nervous break downs and pop xanax left and right. She has all kind of phobias, has no job and wants to go back to school yett doesn't know what she wants to study, AKA she is a mess and is ruining her sisters life also.

As you know Woody Allen, you shouldn't be waiting for anything spectacular happening at the end, but better enjoy the details throughout the whole movie.

I loved the story, the acts (except for the younger sister who looked like she is constantly ON something), the flow of the movie and everything about it and definitely recommend everyone to watch it. 8 out of 10 a fair ranking for this movie.
